
- Robert was given his first guitar by his father at the age
of 7.
- At age 15, he began serious private studies from several local area
teachers.
- Robert eventually went on to study Classical Guitar/Theory at the Royal
Conservatory. Later, he received the first ever musical scholarship
from Glenforest High School.
- He studied Music/Fine Arts at York University in Toronto
- He received a Diploma in Recording Engineering from the Toronto Recording
Workshop
- As well, he received a Diploma from Humber College in Television/Media
Arts Program
- Robert's musical act, Paradise Alley received a Recording Contract with
MCA / Duke Street Records in 91/92.
- His musical act Paradise Alley were finalists twice in Toronto's Q-107
"Homegrown" competition.
- Robert worked as an Audio Technician for the CBC, and Bandworld - a
large local Sound Production Company.
- Robert also worked for Roland Canada Music as a Guitar Product Specialist/Clinician
for 3 years.
- Robert maintains a steady weekly gigging schedule in the greater Toronto
area as a soloist, and in various other musical arrangements. His debut

- Robert has been teaching guitar throughout the Toronto area for more
than 15 years, and is currently teaching in his home studio and at the
Merriam School of Music located in Oakville. He's been a teacher there
since 1997.
- Robert is a featured Guitar Adjudicator for the Midland Y’s Men’s Music Festival held yearly in
April/May.
- Robert is also one of the featured guitar instructors at The Guitar
Workshop Plus, a two week intensive guitar program held every July at
Appleby College in Oakville.
